Today’s collection from Milan Fashion Week spoke to my extremely laid back side. Imagine slouchy silhouettes…but in satin. Or billowy knits…with a graphic print. MaxMara’s Spring 2013 RTW collection provided all that and more. It’s a bit unconventional in the sense that there’s a lot of suede & knits…which seems more Fall than Spring, but for this collection, it works!

Yeah. There’s something about this collection that’s so…effortless. I love the dichotomy between the billowing draping and the sleek skirts & pants. The volume play is really nice here. And I love the color story. Warm taupes. Ice blues. Plaids & prints. Satin & silks. It’s almost like a Rococo Safari gone mad…and I love every bit of it. What about you?
