I’ve probably mentioned before how much I envy those that can draw. Especially as a fashion designer, it is frustrating to not be as adept at illustrating my ideas & concepts as I am in other aspects of the design process. That’s why I constantly seek out fashion illustrators that are able to convey visions of glorious fashions. Today I wanted to share one of those artists, Floyd Grey. I am very impressed with his minimal but striking black & white illustrations…they’re classic, but oh so fantastic.

It looks like most of these masterpieces are done in marker…which really works for his drawing style because it makes the images pop right off the page. I love how each fashionista seems to materialize out of nowhere…kind of like highly stylish fashion ghosts. Love this. Be sure to check out Grey’s deviant art page for more of his fantastic works.
